Today’s Bloganuary prompt is: What emoji(s) do you like to use?
🙄 It’s a weird topic for a writing prompt and I thought I’d give it a pass
But then I remembered the article about people defying censorship in China by writing in emojis.

Unfortunately, it takes me forever to wade through text shorthand & emojis … I am apparently not very good at decoding 🥺

I have nothing against emojis, but I’ve never used one in my life and have no plans to do so. I guess the firmly cements me as an old fuddy duddy, which is OK by me.

I don’t use emojis a whole lot. But I like them. They are, overall, a great idea.
