While Toronto is close the Great Lakes, it’s a two day drive to the nearest ocean on Canada’s east coast. So there’s not an abundance of sea creatures in their natural habitat.
We do have nice street murals though.
On Graffiti Alley, an entire building is devoted to colorful sea creatures. It’s a popular hangout for the Instagram crowd.
The building behind the mural is a commercial enterprise. Probably with serious office workers conducting serious office work within their seriously grey office walls. The view from the outside is much better.
It’s easy to find Toronto’s Sea Creatures. Look for the Lady looking towards her left. She’s on Graffiti Alley which is located just off Queen Street, way way left of the Eastern sea board.

I’d love to! And then go sing with Choir! Choir! Choir! With Joanne! 😉 And then visit Norm in Montreal! (I know, not really around the corner.) And Susanne in Ottawa! I’d be busy there, just it’s a bit far…

A lovely bright and happy wall that livens up.the space. And maybe makes folks think of the oceans. Graffiti alley sounds cool. It is a contrast with the office workers indeed. Do you know what sort of company is in the building. A shipping company would be ironic!

It would be but unlikely 😉 I seem to recall its rented office space. Graffiti Alley is a well known strip that goes beyond this wall. The alley was made famous by a TV satirist who’d walk up and down the street while ranting and skewering local politicians. This mural is a little out of character with the rest. I have a few more pictures of the area is this old post https://thesandychronicles.blog/2016/07/21/toronto-street-art/
