Ahead is my fourth post for the 10 Day Travel Photo Challenge from my Friendly Friday co-host Amanda. For this post I’m not going to reveal the city. It’s a famous one. A favored location for stories, comic book heroes and blockbuster films.

The country is now obvious. This particular place? It’s called a square but it’s not square at all.

A popular location for movies, it’s been the backdrop for films like Midnight Run, Superman and Men in Black I & II. More recently, the K-pop band BTS performed their music video for The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.
If you haven’t guessed it yet, here’s the BTS‘s music video identifying both the location and city.
I find this video a sober reminder of how much older and fogey-er I’ve become. There was a time when I could imagine moving like this. Now, not even. But the video is fun to watch and a great way to get into the mood for tonight’s celebrations. Have a good one. Stay safe.

The Sandy Chronicles 
I visited the Big Apple twice in 2020. The second time was in March, just before the virus exploded into a huge problem. 2021 holds a lot of promise. Happy New Year, Sandy.
