Friendly Friday: FUNNY FURRY FRIENDS

Whether by choice or necessity, many of us have been house-bound these last few weeks. At times like this, it’s good to be held captive with those you like the most.  Like – Love – Obsess – Whatever you call it, most of us have a soft spot for our furry companions.

For this week’s Friendly Friday Photo Challenge I ask you to share a photo of, or homage to,  your FUNNY FURRY FRIENDS.

Now, I don’t want to be responsible for flooding the internet with cat and dog photos. (I’ve heard that there’s a penalty box for causing profligate postings of twee pet photos.) Therefore the challenge is capturing FUNNY moments with your furry friends.

These may be funny moments with your pet or furry creatures you’d like to call friend. The photos can be new, old, realistic, artistic or creatively doctored.  I don’t care and I won’t judge.  My only caveat is that I’m looking for a chuckle 🙂

As an example, I’ll share a watering hole for canine companions in downtown Toronto. I hadn’t been in this part of town for a while. Back then it’d been a boring little parkette.  Since then, someone with a sense of humor and probably a dog-lover, installed this whimsical water fountain.

Look close and you’ll see what’s holding the dogs’ attention at the top of the fountain.

The fountain was a delight in itself.  More so when I spied this, slightly terrified looking cat on the side. What do you suppose he’s thinking?

“Don’t look my way! They won’t see me if they keep their eyes on the bone.”

I look forward to seeing your photos of FUNNY FURRY FRIENDS.

Remember to include a link to this post and a comment below, so that I and others can find your response.
