“Oh no!” you say, “Not another beach photo!”
Oh yes! But I’ll offer up a different view.
Not all beaches are made of sand and surf-able waves. My favorite beach is in a secret cove, accessible but hidden from a walking trail and cut off by shore in high tide. The banks are filled with bleached out driftwood logs and the sand is replaced by pebbles and millions of broken shells.
On a clear day, with the sun shining and surf pounding I could spend hours searching for the perfect shell, the perfect pebble on the perfect driftwood log – each of them different, every one of them unique.
