Have you ever had a picture that you liked and you didn’t know why?
Today’s featured photo (above) is mine. There’s something about this composition that appeals to me. It could be the contrast of textures and silhouettes, maybe the play of patterns and solids. Whatever it is, I like the quietness of the picture.
In my second photo, I share another view of the sisters. This is a more candid shot and captures their spirit of family and playfulness evident on their day’s outing.

Beautiful! I used to live on Long Island and was at the beach all the time. Its the one thing I really miss living in Pennsylvania. Or course there are plenty of rivers and lakes but its not the same. 🙂

I’ve lived most my adult life in a landlocked city. I’m now living a dream, by the Pacific and five minutes walk to a beach. Aside from the occasional tsunami warning, I really can’t complain. Thanks for commenting Mike!
